Help is available here offline. Your career and unlocked items are saved on this device.
Learn the flight controls
Swipe left or right to move one lane. Swipe up to Lift over amber rails and down to Duck under violet overheads. Tap Burst when charged. Fuel activates Burst without using your stored charge. Lime gates with a lightning bolt require active Burst; a shield alone will not open them.
Settings → How to play has the full guide. Settings → Flight controls restores on-screen buttons. With buttons hidden, double-tap the playfield for Burst. Keyboard: arrow keys steer, Lift and Duck; Space uses Burst; P pauses; V changes camera.
Paused, slow, hot, or silent
After switching apps or locking the screen, return to Rift Rush and choose Resume when shown. If the view does not recover, return to the home screen and start a fresh flight. Restarting the app keeps your saved career.
For smoother play or lower power use, select Settings → Graphics → BATTERY SAVER. Reduced motion limits camera movement. Cockpit view switches between first-person and chase views.
Check Settings → Music, Sound effects, Voice callouts, and Volume & sound preview. Also check the device volume and audio output. Haptics depend on device support and your system settings.
A score is missing
Online rankings require a connection and explicit permission in Settings → Online rankings. Check the selected mode, course date, and submission status. Daily courses reset at midnight UTC; Weekly courses reset on Monday UTC. Offline local bests can differ from verified online rankings. Keep the app installed while a submission or deletion is pending.
Enable online rankings to submit eligible future runs. Turn rankings off stops new submissions without deleting earlier results. Use Delete online account & data for removal, and Retry deletion if a connection interrupted the request.
Delete your online account and data
Rift Rush has no username or password. An online account is created only if you turn on Settings → Online rankings, and it is identified by a private account identifier held by the app on your device.
To delete it, open Rift Rush and choose Settings → Online rankings → Delete online account & data, then confirm Delete account & data. This removes your online profile, your public Pilot name, and every score and run record tied to that account. Local career progress, ships, trails, and settings stay on the device. If the request is interrupted, the app keeps Retry deletion available and stops new submissions until it completes; keep the app installed until it confirms.
If the app is already uninstalled, or the in-app request will not complete, email support with the subject “Rift Rush account deletion”. Because guest accounts hold no email address, include your public Pilot name and, if you have it, the public pilot identifier shown beside your rank; these are the only values that can identify the account. Requests are answered from the address below and records are removed within 30 days of a verified match. Without an identifying value the account cannot be located, and no account is deleted on an unverified request.
Deleting the online account does not affect Apple Game Center or Google Play Games data, which are held by those platforms under their own policies. Uninstalling Rift Rush removes the local save from that device but does not by itself delete online records.
Progress and a new device
Your local career, ships, trails, and personal ghosts belong to this device’s save. Online rankings and Game Center do not restore or synchronize that save. Avoid uninstalling the game as a troubleshooting step if you want to keep local progress. Operating-system backups are managed by Apple or your device provider.
Optional ads
Ads require an eligible adult’s explicit choice and a connection. Availability varies; if a rewarded ad is unavailable, you can continue playing. Change your choice under Settings → Ad privacy. Turning ads off stops new requests.
Report a problem
Useful details include your device model, operating-system version, Rift Rush version and build shown in your installation or store, mode, approximate time, and steps that reproduce the problem. A screenshot can help if you choose to share one. Never send passwords, access tokens, recovery credentials, or payment details.
Your choices
Read Settings → Privacy policy for the data used by online rankings, Game Center, and optional ads. Settings → Credits & licenses contains the music, sound, font, and software credits.
